The 1999 World Indoor Trials championship was a hotly contested series with the
best trials stars in the world doing battle, not only with each other, but with
some of the most exacting sections ever seen in the history of this competition.
As a result, the already formidable talents of Lampkin, Colomer, Colley and
Jarvis were tested to the limit, with some terrific feats of balance and control
in a series where the difference between winning and losing came down to poise
and precision, and it was inches that made the difference.
